Welcome to the Awaken Together Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACA) group. We are so glad you are here! Our group is not tied to a geographical location; instead we meet exclusively online.
The resources on this website help us find recovery from abuse, neglect, and other childhood hardships. Take what works for you and leave the rest.
We strive to make this a safe space to recover our True Selves, the inner child who “becomes our guide to feelings, creativity, and spirituality” and who “knows how to love and trust freely” (BRB p. 296).
We welcome you to join us on this journey to awaken our True Selves.
ABOUT AWAKEN TOGETHER
No dues or fees are required for membership; we are, however, fully self-supporting through our own contributions. Donate to individual meetings you attend by visiting our meeting resources page.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to recover from the affects of growing up in an alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional family.
The World Service office now offers an option to have the daily meditation emailed to you. Visit their website for subscription details.
